VPG eSports Premier League round-up: Gameweek 4

In game week 4 of the Virtual Pro Gaming English league, we take a look at how Wigan Athletic, Rochdale and Salford City are finding the eSports league.

Rochdale eSports Team

Rochdale continue to look for their first three points of the season, with a win looking elsuive so far.

Another week of big losses ended with a 0-0 draw against Rotherham United keeping them in 15th place.

A 6-0 defeat to Southend and a 5-0 loss to Shrewsbury will be two tough pills to swallow.

Wigan Athletic eSports Team

After a five game unbeaten run, Wigan Athletic have not picked up a win in the last six games – in turn dropping down to 7th in the VPG Premier League.

A 3-0 defeat against QPR at the start of the week was their fourth on the bounce, However, a 0-0 draw against Rotherham United and a 1-1 results to Lincoln City at least seen the Latics pick up some points.

Salford City eSports Team

Salford City continued to struggled in the VPG Premier League, with three defeats and no goals scored this week.

Salford continues to look for their first win of the campaign. The Ammies started the week with a 1-0 defeat to Shrewsbury Town, followed by a 2-0 loss to Oxford City and a 3-0 defeat to QPR.

Salford still remain in 17th place, joint bottom with Bristol Rovers, with only goal difference to separate them.
