Three players Man Utd should ask Juventus for in exchange for Pogba

Man Utd could complete their team by swapping these three players for Paul Pogba. But a huge gap would be left.

Reports suggest that Juventus have turned their attention from Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, who they will offer three players for.

Recent weeks have shown the ups and downs of a thrilling transfer market. Two Man Utd players, Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba, have publicly announced their desire to leave the club.

At once it looked as though Lukaku was going to Juventus, with Paulo Dybala coming the other way. All of sudden, reports suggest the deal is off due to Dybala considering Man Utd a step down.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during his press-conferences has reiterated his confidence in Paul Pogba staying at Manchester United this season. But have Juventus made an offer he just can’t refuse?

Maurizio Sarri, who should have joined Man Utd with his keen interest on their players, is willing to sacrifice three of his players to bring in the French midfielder who is worth over £150million in today’s climate.

The Football Manc Cave brings to you the three most appropriate and exciting players from Juventus to bring to Man Utd…

Alex Sandro

Man Utd has rebuilt their defence with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire this summer. This has turned the Red Devils’ defence from the worst defence in the top 6 too, arguably, competing for the best defence in the league.

With that, Man Utd fans now consider Luke Shaw the weakest link in the backline. Bringing in Alex Sandro, one of the world’s best left-backs, will drive up competition for the Englishman’s spot and improve the defence as well as the individual.

Mario Mandzukic

Man Utd was in talks with Juventus over the Croatian striker very recently, due to Lukaku’s move away. However, it looks as though Man Utd will be keeping the unhappy and out of form Belgian. This means that Solskjaer has no idea if his only goalscorer will be up to the test this season. But Mandzukic definitely would be.

Douglas Costa

A winger that Man Utd have been linked to for many years. The Brazilian trickster is at home on the wing of a pitch. He fits Man Utd’s new style of play perfectly as he attacks the corners and drives inwards, allowing for a typical Ole Gunnar Solskjaer type of goal; six yards from the net.

However, due to Juventus having a relatively new midfield, it looks unlikely that any world-class midfielders will head the other way. Leaving Manchester United with a midfield that would see them finish in the bottom half of the table.
