Bury are a team bang in form at the moment, and looking like a side that could be there or thereabouts come to the end of the season. Goalscoring doesn’t seem to be a problem with Ryan Lowe’s side banging 16 goals in so far in November in four games across the EFL, FA Cup and League games.
Furthermore, the form and growing influence in midfield of Danny Mayor is there for all to see. Lowe is really making the Shakers tick and if they can continue thier November form into the winter schedule, it will hold them in good stead for 2019 and a quick return to League One.
The Shakers currently only sit two points outside the League Two play-off places in tenth and with the right transfer activity planning in January, there is no reason what so ever why Bury can’t be occupying one of the promoted places in the business end of the season.
With that in mind, we take a look at what one position Ryan Lowe should be looking to strengthen in the January window…
MIDFIELD: Holding Midfielder
With the current team playing with creativity and free will scoring capabilities, Lowe would be mindful to ensure there is more than enough protection at the back.
A holding midfielder would provide the perfect balance for the Shakers, and further let the shackles loose for the rampant Shakers.
