Man Utd are looking to bring back Burnley 35m rated 19 y/o winger

According to The Sun, Man Utd are keeping tabs on £35 million Burnley winger, Dwight McNeil. This is the same player that they dumped 5 years ago.

The 19-year-old has been a stand out performer for Burnley so far this season. It looks like Man Utd are now regretting getting rid of the midfielder.

McNeil was released from the academy team at aged just 14. This was because he didn’t meet the standards. He was also poor at set-pieces.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has sent scouts out in recent weeks to keep an eye on England Under 21 international.

Man Utd must meet Burnley valuation

It is understood that Burnley wants around £35 million for their man. Even if Man Utd reach those requirements, they could still be rejected.

It is looking like Burnley want to keep hold of the midfielder.

Dwight McNeil

The 19-year-old is a huge red devils fan despite being dumped from Old Trafford.

Scouts from Old Trafford apparently went to watch him when Burnley played Chelsea a few weeks ago. They got to see him score in a 4-2 loss.

Forget Rice: 3 midfielders that Man Utd should be going for instead

Man United keep their transfer links going into another window with West Ham United’s Declan Rice according to goal.com.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opted to bolster the defence in the summer window over a depleted midfield. In the winter window, it seems that the focus is now on the middle of the park area in a bid to save their season.

Many believe Solskajer needs three transfer windows to overhaul a very out of balance Man United squad. Another link to West Ham’s Declan Rice has arisen. Even though he’s another young British player, there is better out there that Man United could bring in.

The three below could certainly make United’s midfield stronger…

Wilfried Ndidi

Leicester City could soon become Man United’s feeder club if all the transfer links are to be believed. However, if they are to grab another player from the Foxes, Ndidi has to be the man.

This season he tops the tackles chart on whoscored.com with 53 total tackles from an attempted 71. Alongside an incredible 397 short passes completed.

Habib Maiga

The Metz 23-year-old plays in a similar position to Ndidi. With a slightly less 57 attempted tackles, he has been successful in 47 of them. Not bad going.

The Ivory Coast international thrives on tackling and intercepting the play. A pass success rate of 82% builds the picture of this midfield man. Stop them and pass it on.

Oriol Romeu

The Southampton 28-year-old has the Premier League experience that might give him the edge on the others. Romeu has made 11 appearances so far in the League and averaging 3.7 tackles per game with 1.4 interceptions.

The Spaniard isn’t goal-getter by any means. However, he can enforce the midfield and strengthen that core area Man United seem to be weak in at the moment.

How is Man United’s Joel Pereira doing at Hearts?

Joel Pereira went on loan to the Scottish Premiership. He is currently playing for Hearts and The Football Manc Cave are taking a look at how he’s doing.

The 23 year old goal keeper needed another loan spell to gain some experience. He decided that Hearts could be a good move for him.

The Portuguese player has featured in quite a few games already for the Scottish side. However, he has a lot to learn.

With David De Gea to live up to, he needs to get as much game time as possible. If he returns to Old Trafford, improvements will be expected.

Current form

According to Transfermarkt, Pereira has played 7 games and conceded 7 goals so far.

However, he has kept 2 clean sheets. At least he is making the most out of the games he’s getting. He will only learn, grow and develop.

Hearts

Currently, Hearts are 11th in the Scottish Premiership.

They recently played St Johnstone and only lost 1-0. Pereira played the full game. However, he also played against Rangers in the Scottish League Cup last weekend and they lost 3-0.

Man United simply can not drop these 3 players if they want a 4th away win

Man United’s form has improved recently. If they want to make it 4 away wins in a row, these 3 players will have to be played.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has transformed his team. Improvements are coming slowly. Now Man United have a streak of wins.

It started when they drew 1-1 with Liverpool. That sparked something in the team and now they’re improving each week.

They followed that draw with a win against Partizan in the Europa League. When they returned to the Premier League, they then beat Norwich 3-1.

This week, they also managed a win against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.

Tomorrow, they face Bournemouth. If they want to make it 4 wins in a row, these 3 players should be in the squad…

Marcus Rashford

This may seem like an obvious pick. However, there is no doubt that he needs to be in the squad.

He’s not been at his best in the first stages of the season as he missed penalties and failed to find the back of the net. However, his two goals against Chelsea prove that he’s on his way back.

Daniel James

Most fans would agree that he has made a huge difference to the Man United team this season.

He is becoming a fan favourite. When he’s in the squad, you can see the difference.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Now that he’s back from injury, he should be in that squad every week.

Even Chelsea fans commented on how there was no getting past him this week.

3 Reasons why a return for former fan favourite wouldn’t be a bad idea for Man United

Man United fan favourite, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been linked with a move back to Old Trafford in the past. However, could now be a good time to get him back?

Zlatan is a Man United legend. He has gone on to have a great career.

Man United’s recent form hasn’t been great. It has improved slightly but they could benefit from having someone like Ibrahimovic back at Old Trafford.

While it may seem unlikey, weirder things have happened in football. Here’s three reasons why it would be a great idea to sign him again…

Ole wants a goalscorer

Marcus Rashford scored an incredible goal last night. This probably will make up for the poor form he’s been under recently.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer really wants a goalscorer. So why not Zlatan?

Open to return

He gets asked about his time at Man United all the time. In the past, he has said that he would be open to a return to Old Trafford.

If a deal could be made, it would also please fans. They would also value him more because he actually wants to play for the club.

Experience

The current Man United team is made up of a lot of youngsters. They could benefit from the experience Zlatan has.

He’s had spells at Ajax, Juventus, Barcelona, PSG and LA Galaxy. However’ Solskjaer has said that he would be more interested if the striker was 28, not 38.

Man City want their player back, but it will cost them £100m+

According to Sport Witness, Man City want Jadon Sancho back. However, their biggest rivals, Man United also want him.

The teenager moved from Man City to the Bundesliga.

He joined Borussia Dortmund and it has massively paid off for him. The winger has been a stand out performer for the side.

He has managed 12 goals and 17 assists in the league for the German side. This has caught the attention of Premier League giants.

Man United

The Red Devil’s were linked with Sancho over the summer. However, the deal never went ahead.

Reports are now saying that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still interested in the teenager.

Man City

Now it looks like Man City are wanting their man back. It must be frustrating letting a player leave and watching their value increase.

It must be even more annoying knowing that your biggest rivals are making a move. However, if either side wants to bring him to the Premier League, they are going to have to pay over £100 million.

Man United face Chelsea tonight in the Carabao Cup at Stamford Bridge. The Football Manc Cave are picking out the three players who should be up front.

Man United’s recent form has been a little bit better than the start of the season. However, they face an impressive Chelsea side tonight and both will be looking to win.

If Man United want to win, they need to put out a strong attacking team.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keeps on putting young players into his starting line up. However, tonight it will be about the experienced members of the squad.

Front 3

Solskjaer should start Martial up front with Lingard on the right wing and rashford on the left.

This is the most effective and experienced trio that Man United currently have. However, there will be younger options on the bench if Solskjaer needs to change things up.

Youngsters

The young Talent at Man United is proving to be be on another level.

Chelsea also have young talented players who Frank Lampard has had to rely on all season. However, Man United have the likes of James Garner, Brandon Williams and Scott Mctominay.

Man United target 2 Ligue 1 forwards to improve their 2020

According to ESPN, Man United are turning to Ligue 1 to find recruits ahead of the New Year.

It looks like Man United will be trying to sign French duo, Boubakary Soumare and Moussa Dembele.

Both players have been on Man United’s radar for a while.

However, with Man United’s recent form, reinforcements are desperately needed.

Both French men would be very useful at Old Trafford. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer supposedly wants a striker and a Paul Pogba replacement if needed.

Boubakary Soumare

The 20 year old has represented France at youth levels.

Clubs all across Europe have monitored the midfielder for quite some time. However, Man United are ready to pounce on him after scouts have been keeping a close eye on him.

Moussa Dembele

Man United have followed the Lyon striker since he was with Fulham and Celtic.

It looks like the 23 year old could be interested in a move back to the Premier League. Now that he’s got experience abroad, he may be ready to return.
