Man United want these 3 Valencia players

According to The Express, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is interested in 3 Valenica players. It looks like Man United are looking everywhere for recruits.

Man United haven’t had the best start to this Premier League campaign. They have been linked with a lot of different players ahead of the transfer window.

January could be a busy time for the Red Devil’s. The newest rumours are that Solskjaer is interested in a few Valencia players.

It is unlikely that Man United will pull off all three signings. However, by having options to choose from, atleast one could be on their way to Old Trafford.

Jose Gaya

The left back could cost Man United a lot of money. However, money shouldn’t really be a problem.

Brandon Williams is currently being expected to fill this position. The only problem is, he is young and inexperienced. Gaya would be a good fit.

Carlos Soler

Old Trafford need a right winger. Soler could operate that role. He is also versatile.

He can work in the middle of the pitch as well offering a new option to Solskjaer.

Ferran Torres

The right winger has made a name for himself in the LaLiga and is also wanted at Man United.

However, Solskjaer has admitted that bringing players in, in January will be hard.

Forget Madrid, Sterling can achieve more with Man City, agreed?

A ridiculous transfer story broke yesterday on Sky Sports. Real Madrid is to offer 70m + Gareth Bale for Man City’s Raheem Sterling.

Madrid has been desperate to offload the Welshman for some time now. With interest waning for the wantaway winger, Los Blancos seem a cash plus player deal may be the option to get him out of the door.

However, even non-Man City fans scoffed at reading the latest supposed offer. An injury-prone, out of form 30-year-old, in exchange for the Premier League’s red hot Englishman can not be a serious thought process, surely?

Sterling, at 24, is still a few years off ‘prime’ age for a footballer. With Man City growing as a club year on year, alongside Pep Guardiola at the helm. The future for Sterling surely would be blue.

Real Madrid brought back Zidane in a bid to stop their slump. The club finds themselves second in La Liga and five points behind in the Champions League group table. Furthermore, they seem to be still reeling from the loss of Ronaldo to Juventus. They see Sterling as the ideal long term replacement, despite signing Eden Hazard in the summer.

Even though Real Madrid are the most decorated European club side. In the near future, many would place their bets on Man City winning the Champions League before Madrid next do.

Inevitably most elite players opt for La Liga’s Real Madrid or Barcelona. However, for now, Sterling would be best placed at the Etihad if he is to be successful.

Man City fans, do you agree. Is Sterling going to be more successful at Man City than Real Madrid?

Sané’s replacement: 22 year old La Liga star identified

According to Sky Sports News, Bayern Munich are still interested in Leroy Sané. Man City have now had to look at a replacement.

Man City faced a big blow at the beginning of the season when Leroy Sané was injured.

There were also rumours about Bayern Munich being interested in the Man City player.

Despite him being injured, these rumours have never really gone away.

Now it seems to be a question of not if but when. If Sané wants to go to Bayern Munich he may have to continue his rehab with them if he makes a winter transfer.

However, if he chooses to wait until the summer he could be back to being fully fit.

Sky Sports have now reported that Man City are supposed to be looking at Mikel Oyarzabal from Real Sociedad.

Current situation

Mikel Oyarzabal currently has a contract with Real Sociedad until 2024. It doesn’t look like Sociedad want to lose their man.

However if Man City are willing to pay the£67.5 million release clause, they may think again.

Oyarzabal

The 22-year old has scored 28 goals in the last two Seasons at Real Sociedad.

He also shone over the summer in the Under-21 European Championships for Spain. He has worked his way up through the Sociedad Academy and been consistent in performing ever since.

Pep looking to use La Liga contacts to solve Man City’s defensive problems with this duo

Man City’s website offers a transfer news update every week. In the most recent update, it looks like Pep Guardiola could be looking at La Liga players to solve his defensive issues.

Pep Guardiola has previously stated that Man City wouldn’t be active in the next transfer window.

However, according to reports from Spain, the Premier League champions look to have changed their mind.

Bids for Barcelona’s Samuel Umtiti and Real Madrid’s Nacho could happen. This is in an urgent appeal to improve the defence at the Etihad.

It would also offer some relief for the injuries Guardiola is having to deal with. Neither player is a first-choice option at their current clubs.

Also, each of the La Liga teams is allegedly keen to raise funds at the beginning of 2020.

Nacho

The Spanish 29-year-old is known as a centre back. His current contract expires in 2020 therefore, he could be looking for a change.

He can also operate as a right-back and left-back which would solve some problems at the Etihad. If any more injuries cropped up, he would be able to fill the void.

Samuel Umtiti

The 25-year-old Frenchman has a current contract until 2023. However, no game time could mean he would be tempted by a move to the Etihad.

The centre back is another versatile player as he is also comfortable as a left-back. At the age of 25, he definitely should be a club who can offer him playing time.

Signing La Liga’s 93.1% pass success master should be Man United’s main priority

According to The Sun, Man United are planning on signing Real Madrid Star, Toni Kroos. However, it could mean that Paul Pogba will get to part ways with teammates at Old Trafford.

Toni Kroos has been on Man United’s radar since around 2013. David Moyes showed interest in the 29-year-old, however, the deal never went through.

Now it is looking like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will revisit this possible transfer. It’s rumoured that Man United would be willing to pay £66.9 million for his services.

However, Real Madrid is known to be interested in Paul Pogba. They want to land the Man United man and this could be their chance. The La Liga team could use this to their advantage and encourage a ‘swap’ deal.

Man United should definitely push for this transfer to go ahead. Kroos would turn things around at Old Trafford.

Paul Pogba doesn’t really want to stay at Man United. I think he would be happy with a move.

However, would this be a fair ‘swap’ deal? Pogba would be getting a new team with better football and more competitions. Kroos would be going to a team failing to qualify for Champions League football. He would also be playing with under-performing players.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co would have to do some serious negotiations but imagine if it happened. What a signing that would be.

When you compare the two players, there is a big difference. Here’s how the two compare according to WhoScored.com…

Paul Pogba

With 2 assists in 5 games so far this season and an average of 2.6 key passes per game, it shows Pogba can create opportunities on his day.

Although Pogba has been limited this season through injury, the Frenchman can still make an impact when he’s on the pitch.

Toni Kroos

His passing is rated as very strong as his figures show with 3.6 key passes per game. and 93.1% pass succession compared to Pogba’s 80.7%.

The ability to stay concentrated is also of high quality. In the centre midfield position this season so far, he’s made 12 appearances and scored twice.

Forget Rakitic: Man Utd should go for this La Liga star instead

According to The Sun, Man United are interested in La Liga Star, Ivan Rakitic. However, The Football Manc Cave have picked out a player who might be a better target.

Barcelona wants to offload their midfielder and Man United wouldn’t be a bad shout. However, Barcelona is demanding around £35 million.

Man United could spend their money a little more wisely. Rakitic is a good player and it wouldn’t be a bad thing to see him at Old Trafford. I just think, if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking for a La Liga option, there are better options.

Rakitic is more of a central midfielder who can attack and defend. Although, I think this particular winger would be more effective in a Man United shirt…

Gareth Bale

I know, his name has come up with links to Man United before. He has rejected their advances in the past and could possibly again.

However, it’s known that he is an ‘unwanted man,’ at the moment. His current team, Real Madrid don’t seem to want him.

He looks like a man who wants a change too. Man United might not be the place he ends up but it certainly wouldn’t be ground upon if they tried to tempt him to Old Trafford.

All Rounder

Bale is a hard-working individual. He puts everything into a game and is refreshing to watch.

Imagine what he could teach to some of the younger inexperienced Man United squad members. I truly think he would lead and motivate an underperforming Man United side.

It might take a lot to pull off signing him, although, weirder things have happened in football. Even if he doesn’t make a move to Manchester, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer attempting to sign him would make a bold statement.

2 La Liga gems to replace Man City’s David Silva

The Football Manc Cave are looking at 2 young La Liga players who Man City could look at when it comes to replacing David Silva.

The current Man City Captain has already spoken on how he intends to leave the Manchester side at the end of the year. Replacements will already be in consideration I’m sure. However, we are picking out some options.

Earlier this year, I picked out two La Liga senior players that may be considered as options and put it in an article. These are two options that Guardiola could look at for experience.

However, if he’s looking for youngsters that he can help develop, here’s two he could look at…

Martin Odegaard

Odegaard is 20 years old and from Norway. He compares to David Silva in the sense that he is known as an attacking midfielder but can also operate both wings.

He is currently on loan from Real Sociedad to Real Madrid. His value is slowly raising as he’s gaining more game time. He’s being compared to other players like Brahim Diaz who is at Real Madrid.

He might be an option for Man City to develop and eventually get him to the David Silva standard. He has a lot of potential and could be open to a loan spell in the Premier League, considering he is currently on loan in the La Liga.

Vinicius Junior

A young Real Madrid player who is also versatile. The 19-year-old Brazilian is known as a left-winger with secondary positions as a striker or on the right-hand side.

He’s currently valued at around £63 million as rated by Transfermarkt. The teenager has also only played for Real Madrid and Flamengo so could be open to a move to widen his experience and develop.

He’s been compared to Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic. Man City could always recruit someone with more experience, and then offer one of these youngsters a loan shot to see how they can handle the pressure.

Either way, it will be interesting to see who Guardiola goes after and when -because a replacement will need to be found. The topic of who should take the Captain’s armband will also come up.

2 Real Madrid players Man Utd should go for instead of Kroos

Paul Pogba’s move to Real Madrid could result in a player moving the other way. But who can Man Utd go for to replace the midfielder?

Real Madrid made attempts to sign Paul Pogba in summer, but the Reds managed to keep hold of their prized midfielder for one more season.

With Man Utd’s current midfield lacking in both depth and quality, they already need to sign one or two midfielders without the loss of Paul Pogba. With the loss of Pogba, that adds yet another item to the shopping list for Man Utd, who have several positions already that need more depth.

According to reports, Real Madrid are considering using the 29-year-old German midfielder Toni Kroos in their attempt to sign Pogba for a lower price than what Man Utd originally set for their star man.

However, there are 2 players Man Utd could use more than Toni Kroos and should be offered by Real Madrid in a swap plus cash deal for Paul Pogba…

Casemiro

27-year-old Brazilian international Casemiro has been a successful defensive midfielder with the Spanish giants since moving from Sao Paulo in 2013. Spending six years in Madrid will have given Casemiro the talent, fitness and pedigree to slot nicely in front of Solskjaer’s back four and play a pivotal role in transitioning from defence to attack.

Gareth Bale

Man Utd was rumoured to be considering a loan deal for Bale in summer. The Welshman has been out of favour in Madrid despite proving his class on multiple occasions. A recent example is being taken off in the 3-0 defeat to PSG although he was their best player on the night.

Bale’s astronomical wages could be a difficulty in the process, but Man Utd certainly need quality in their side and will have to spend big to get it.

Is Man Utd wasting their time chasing Dortmund star?

After failing to sign any attacking players in the summer transfer window, Man Utd fans still have hope that 19-year-old Jadon Sancho will make a move to Old Trafford.

Man Utd has had a difficult start to the season so far. With one win, two draws and a loss, they are far from on their way to a comfortable top-four position.

The football being played by the Reds doesn’t indicate that they will reach top four at all. There have been clear and obvious issues in creating chances and having enough quality to take chances.

Sancho would fit Man Utd’s perfect player profile, young, hungry and British. When asked about a return to his homeland, Sancho said: “I can’t tell the future but I wouldn’t mind. La Liga I wouldn’t mind also, but we don’t know yet.” The young winger comes across as a fun-loving and chirpy, but it is evident that his head in is the right place. He said, “Obviously being in Germany has taken off the pressure of the media and I think that’s really helping me a lot and keeping me focused.”

Does Solskjaer need Jadon Sancho?

Jadon Sancho could certainly add the Solskjaer’s attacking threat, having 2 goals and 3 assists in three Bundesliga games already this season. However, one current Man Utd player who cost a fraction of what Sancho would is carrying the Man Utd attack…

Daniel James, 21, arrived from Swansea for £15million this summer. Already, he has become a fan favourite as he embodies the ‘old Man Utd’. The Welsh winger has scored 3 goals in 4 appearances, two being of the highest quality of finishes. His celebrations bleed pure emotion and his determination get whip down the wing cannot be compared to anyone but his national coach Ryan Giggs.

With a forward three of Rashford, Martial and James, who does Sancho replace if he makes his way to Old Trafford?

Man Utd’s main issues are chance creation, perhaps building on the midfield before making a £100million number seven shirt seller would assure the fans that the club isn’t going round in circles and making no progress.

2 positives and 2 negatives to Paul Pogba staying for Man Utd

Solskjaer has been confident throughout the transfer window that Paul Pogba will remain with Man Utd this season. However, reports suggest that the Frenchman is still eager to move to Real Madrid.

Paul Pogba still wants to leave Man Utd despite their drastic change in style which resulted in the emphatic 4-0 win over Chelsea, according to La Liga outlet Marca.

Man Utd is undefeated so far since the beginning of pre-season. They also got off to a great start by thumping Chelsea. Unfortunately for Man Utd, it seems this may not be enough to keep Pogba in the side, long term.

Other European leagues have until September to sign players, meaning that Pogba could still go to Real Madrid in the coming weeks. However, it appears likely that the World Cup winner will remain at the club for another season. Here are the pros and cons of keeping him…

World Class

Man Utd’s world-class talents include David De Gea, Paul Pogba and the painfully out of form Alexis Sanchez. Pogba’s class proves permanent in games like Chelsea at Old Trafford where he looks sloppy and out of form but pulls off two incredible assists against a top-four rival.

Personality

Paul Pogba offers much more than just class on the field. The midfielder is closely knitted with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood. Having a group of friends playing football together will perpetuate the positive mindset instilled by Solskjaer over recent weeks.

However…

Wanting to leave

We have seen a lacklustre Paul Pogba when he was dissatisfied with the previous manager Jose Mourinho. There is a potential for Paul Pogba to kick up a fuss and play at 50% due to not getting the move he wants. This toxicity and lack of effort could totally unravel this Man Utd side.

Hypocrisy

The Man Utd board and coaching staff have claimed that they have no time for players who don’t want to be part of the club. Which explains why so many signings fell through this summer. However, Paul Pogba himself doesn’t want to play for Manchester United. So were the board untruthful or does Paul Pogba get special treatment?
