Nottingham Forest has signed Aro Muric from Manchester City on loan. The Football Manc Cave is looking at what he could bring to their squad.
The Man City keeper is only 20 years old and has been training with the Manchester side since 2015. He couldn’t break into the first team squad and at his age and experience, it was no surprise so he was sent to NAC Breda on loan. Now that the loan is over, he’s looking for a chance to gain some more experience from Nottingham Forest.
It’s a big accomplishment for Forest, as he has received interest from a number of clubs abroad and in the UK.
Here are a 3 things Muric will bring to the Championship side…
With him only being 20, he’s still got plenty of time to grow and develop. He’s not had a proper chance at showing what he is capable of although, clubs have still shown their interest. On his only appearance at NAC Breda, he kept a clean sheet in a 3-0 home win. So I can only imagine he will maintain the same standard and mature as a player as he gets the chance to play.
Think about his development as a young player. He’s been a part of various Swiss youth teams training programs and worked with Manchester City’s coaches. He must have been put through his paces with these clubs as there’s a high standard there. The ‘keeper has trained with the likes of Claudio Bravo and Ederson. He must have learnt a lot from them that he can bring to another team.
A move to Nottingham Forest will see him compete with Costel Pantimillon for the number one spot. However, with the 20-year-old wanting to prove that he’s ready for a team to take a chance on starting him, he should have the determination and motivation to give it his all so even though he will be trying to prove himself. Forest should get good games out of him and hopefully clean sheets.
