Man Utd needs a striker, does Sevilla forward tick all the boxes?

France Football has claimed that Man United are interested in Sevilla forward, Wissam Ben Yedder.

United are supposedly watching the 28-year old ahead of a summer move. This has all come to light after Lukaku has stated his interest in a move from Manchester. Could Ben Yedder be a replacement if he does leave? Maybe.

He also reportedly has a £36 million release clause in his contract and although he is one of the most feared players in La Liga, I don’t think he’s top of United’s list or at the top of their priorities.

The Red Devil’s and their fans are all disappointed with how last season turned out for them and a goal scorer could turn it around for them. Ben Yedder scored 30 times in 51 appearances in all competitions last season, although he has also said he would only leave with his current clubs blessing.

In response to his future, he said, I dream of playing at the highest level,  in the biggest clubs in the world and be next to world-class players. To see how far I can go.

I think he would be a good addition to United and with the determination he has for himself, he could drive Solskjær’s team forward next season. I just can’t see the Manchester side going for him as there are better options.
