‘Bury must start again from the bottom. Not handed a lifeline! Other clubs will think they can do it otherwise’ Football fans react

The Football Manc Cave is looking at your reactions to the fact that Bury could make a return to League Two if plans go ahead…

Fans were devastated when Bury’s expulsion from the league was announced and thousands signed a petition to overturn the decision. The EFL didn’t help with the situation and now Paul Wilkinson and Bury MP, James Frith have spoken about plans to try and get their team into league two rather than lower league football.

James Frith had announced yesterday that he will submit plans to the EFL for this to happen next season and here are your reactions…

Personally, I can’t see the EFL allowing this and in terms of how things are supposed to go officially, it would be unfair to place Bury in League Two. Especially, when other teams are fighting to be there, however, the way that the EFL have handled the situations with the likes of Bolton and Bury, I think they should do something to help The Shakers now.

Most won’t agree but at the end of the day, the league should want their football teams to survive.
