These TWO Manchester United players need to return bang in form to help Jose Mourinho
The very early International break is upon us already and the Red Devils go into it on the back of a much-needed win against Burnley.
United have two wins and two draws in the opening four games of the season, which has sparked a flurry of tweets, newspaper columns and even a plane banner!
The hysteria surrounding United this season has been nothing short of madness. It all started in pre-season and just snowballed ever since.
Indeed, this seems to have brought Mourinho and the fans closer together and a real us versus the world vibe is starting to show. at Old Trafford – which will delight the Portuguese boss.
Many of United’s stars are out all over the world playing for thier Countries and this will be the break the Red Devil’s probably needed so early on in the season. A change of scenery and mindset should play right into Mourinho’s hands.
Especially if these TWO players come back bang in form and turn out the performances needed to get United upwardly in the table again…
Pogba has been indifferent form this season, following his crucial role in the World Cup win for France in the summer. Mourinho made him Captain in the first game and he played well.
However, it seems that the continuous stories of him leaving Old Trafford are not going away and is somewhat disputing his mindset and play on the pitch.
If United are to succeed this season, then the Frenchmen needs to be more consistent and be the glue that holds this United team together.
The young Manchester lad seems a shadow of his former self this season already, maybe it’s a World Cup hangover, maybe its the fact he doesn’t have a real position within the team.
Often he’s played on the left, sometimes he’s a striker but with Martial, Sanchez and Luakaku all playing for them spots – the England man has no real home within the team.
Many believe he could be the answer to the right-hand side problem, but for some reason, this is not happening.
Rashford needs to find his shine again, and maybe a trip back to England may revitalise him.
